^^^There's quite a difference between ripping off and paying homage.
For serious, Black Isle. Damn near all their RPGs were incredible. Why don't people buy more RPGs! -shakes fist-
Also R.I.P. Ensemble. I don't know what MS were collectively smoking whey they got rid of them.
This article makes no sense whatsoever to me.
If I understand....
Put a game with below 360/PS3 standard visuals out for those consoles with the promise to patch in motion controls that may or may not work since the tech isn't even ready and wasn't announced until after the game had already been under development for a while? All of that instead of banking on the highest selling console ever made?
Maybe someone could explain this to me?
So...what? Do they mean only your incarnation of the avatar can die? That other interview made it seem like you could die as part of the story. Will this replacement Shepard fit in with the storyline like a clone or just be a new create-a-character? I'm confused now.
You jest but people would eat those up with both hands, sad to say.
Also, I thought Activision had Guitar Hero not Rockband.
Why didn't you just post your more intelligent concern with QTEs in the first place instead of making a sideways comment about the game? I'll never understand why people try to make clever criticisms then get defensive when they have to explain their one sentence comment.
And ftr, I agree. I think a lot of gamers could be put off by the game because it essentially is full QTE game like its predecessor Fahrenheit. Luckily it has impressive visuals, which I think will attract peopl...
The two types of articles that get the most degrees on this site are the sensational and the sexy.
At least the sexy articles tend to be honest.
We really need to stop pretending the general public knows what's going on with either of them.
@cmbre: Well, the hating is because of people like you who turn the PC version into some kind of slight against the 360.
I mean, I know you enjoy Sony's gaming endeavours (you show a great deal of exuberance in your posting), but there's no rule that says you have to make fun of everyone else's choices is there?
I say what I always say about new tech: It is not worth the hype until we see what games start coming out.
History has already shown what you get when you can make nice tech, but can't properly support it, which is the penetrating bitterness of a lemon. I have owned the Eyetoy, the Guncons, the guitar peripherals, the Taiko Drum Master controller, the Powerglove, the Powerpad, the Lightgun, etc. These inventions are absolutely bloody USELESS if games that make use of them are tri...
Understood. But the new ESRB approved logo is essentially the same thing with the two fingers up so I don't see how that reasoning rings true.

It's the same gesture. I would say the censoring has nothing to do with it being offensive in those countries. If so, they didn't seem to solve much.
"you would rather it be cartoony?"
I'm not sure where I suggested that in my original post.
Not surprising, but highly disappointing.
I guess you're better off keeping all those original discs lying around. Are they even updating BC anymore these days?
Take care of your legacy Xboxers, MS, since they've supported you from day one.
To say nothing of the overall quality itself, the only thing I genuinely dislike is the art direction. The concepts for the tech in that game just look silly to me. Reminds me of some of the concepts I've fooled around with where I just painted on a bunch of random lights and levers and doohickeys. Maybe they make more sense in practice.
Besides that totally minor gripe it otherwise looks like a solid game.
I guess. I didn't have a problem with the combat. I found ME's combat pretty easy so long as you kept your equipment up to snuff.
What I would love to know is how they've improved the planet exploration. I think that's the only minor gripe I haven't heard them address in detail. Even if they haven't this is still a must buy since they've pretty much improved EVERYTHING else across the board.
"You're avatar says it all."
Indeed.
Samus Aran. /thread
Don't worry, our (American) ESRB hates sex way more than violence.
Ah, right. Well if it's just Natal he's talking about then ok.
If it's some new 360 console with Natal built in, I still say, they don't need to stop there. I'm perfectly willing to upgrade if it's worth it (more powerful hardware, etc).
Given MS's usual methods, it doesn't seem likely in retrospect that a new console would be announced with so little fanfare in an ambiguous quote like that.
Some kind of SP mode would go a ways toward placating my similar issues with pay-as-you-go gaming. Multiplayer-only is too restrictive for me.
